History

Founded in 1971, the Fachhochschule Wiesbaden (University of Applied Sciences) excels in practise oriented training which prepares students for numerous and contemporary professions. In the past ten years the spectrum of subjects has widened considerably, above all in the direction of international and
profession-linked programs of study.
The Fachhochschule Wiesbaden / University of Applied Sciences counts among the 15 biggest in Germany, has approximately 8,100 students, has 6 departments with 37 programs of study, among them 25 Bachelor and Master degree courses.
Course overview
We use Symbian based devices and emulators for development of distributed mobile applications. In advanced courses students learn to deisgn and
implement a mobile scenario using a JavaME and/or Symbian Framework.
