Description
To create Symbian SQL we have implemented SQLite, the established open source technology which is widely used in products such as Mozilla's Firefox. This provides a robust and highly scalable database management system for Symbian OS. With mobile phone users increasingly storing large amounts of data and multimedia on their devices, Symbian SQL makes retrieving and sorting this data fast and efficient without compromising performance and is ready for phones with gigabytes of storage space.
Application developers can also take advantage of Symbian SQL by using a standard query language when working with databases on Symbian OS, helping to reduce maintenance costs and application footprints.

Installation
• Emulator - Unzip the file symbiansql_bin_v9.2.zip to your EPOCROOT folder
• Device - Install the file symbiansql_v9.2.sis to your phone

Important
• This is for Series 60 3rd Edition FP1 (Symbian OS v9.2) (this SIS file does not support UIQ)
• Known to be not 100% robust on removable media. This is fixed in Symbian OS v9.4.
• Symbian will not be providing support for this
• This is for contractor / licensee Nokia SDKs, and not public SDKs
• This has only been tested on S60_3_1_200738
