BT has launched a competition to promote the development of innovative applications and services for Wi-Fi enabled mobile devices. The overall winner will receive £1000 in prize money, with further monetary prizes for second and third places.
Entries will be judged by representatives from BT, Symbian and a third party organisation. The winners will be announced at the Mobile World Congress (previously known as the 3GSM World Congress) in February 2008.

Reports the Nokia Python for S60 Wiki: "The capabilities for the PythonForS60 component are usable with almost all applications as is and thus there is no longer a need for a separate unsigned version of this package." And on the Forum Nokia discussion boards developers can read that the new version supports both S60 2nd Edition and 3rd Edition: "If someone is interested in making 1st Edition builds...just get the source and go ahead."
