Smarter Strings for Symbian OS

RStringBuf is a new string class for Symbian OS that improves the stability of your software.

While the Symbian OS descriptor library provides excellent safety from buffer overflow security problems, it will panic the program when a buffer overflows. RStringBuf avoids this problem by managing its own storage and extending its buffer as required. "It's particularly useful in our core business of porting code from other programming languages," commented Charles Weir, Managing Director of Penrillian.

RStringBuf is available to download
