Symbian joins the industry luminaries at this year's ACCU conference in Oxford, UK. This year's conference features speakers such as David Wood, Jo Stichbury, John Pagonis and Charles Weir who will talk about Symbian OS programming alongside presentations from other renowned software engineering personalities.

More informationRStringBuf is a new string class for Symbian OS that improves the stability of your software.
While the Symbian OS descriptor library provides excellent safety from buffer overflow security problems, it will panic the program when a buffer overflows. RStringBuf avoids this problem by managing its own storage and extending its buffer as required. "It's particularly useful in our core business of porting code from other programming languages," commented Charles Weir, Managing Director of Penrillian.
