As far as I know, BSP documentation is under NDA and you need to be a Sybmian Partner to access it. It should have come with your BAK or devKit.

If you want to make a start on the Symbian OS architectures I recommend "Symbian OS Internals" by Jane Sales as this covers large portions of the kernel and the low level API's for Symbian.

You might want to look at the 'Symbian OS Internals' book. While it does not explain everything about making a baseport, it does explain how the OS kernel works, the idea of the hardware abstraction layer, what the baseport would be expected to support for the OS, device driver design, etc.

I think some, maybe all, of the chapters are available online if your are a member of SDN (or maybe it is just SDN++)?

Well as you are developing a BSP you must be a Symbian partner so its in the SDN++, not the regular SDN wiki

Its at this URL - https://developer.symbian.com/wiki/display/ppg/Symbian+OS+Internals, if you can't see it, you are not a partner.

You can always buy a copy from here http://developer.symbian.com/main/documentation/books/books_files/os_internals/index.jsp
